FUNCTIONAL TESTS
In a naturopathic context, functional tests are used to assess the biochemical terrain and genetic predispositions. The results help identify the underlying causes which may be preventing you from achieving your goals of optimal wellbeing. These tests can be used as a baseline to monitor progress as well as to elaborate holistic personalized, accurately targeted programs.

BIOIMPEDANCE ANALYSIS TEST (BIA)

A simple non-invasive test used to measure body composition(fat mass, muscle mass, water content). The weight measured on a scale is often not indicative of the body’s fat content.
The BIA analysis provides us with an easy to use method to monitor the progress of weight-loss protocols in order to ensure that fat mass is lost and muscle mass is preserved or increased.
(This test is contraindicated in persons wearing a pace-maker)
