HYDROTHERAPY

Hydrotherapy is the use of water at variable temperatures to create a therapeutic effect on the body.
​
The use of thermal waters dates back to Roman times and the ancient Greeks when those suffering from leprosy, injured soldiers and the sick were often sent to thermae (bath houses) to benefit from their therapeutic waters and vapors.

It is the alternating application of hot and cold water-soaked towels to the back and abdomen which produces very deep healing effects on the body.
